We purchased a puppy from Dawn in June 2021, and the service that we received from Dawn was phenomenal from start to finish.

Our search started on the internet and we found Dawn as a breeder, we had a lengthy chat on the phone and then we had to complete a form before we could even be consider having a puppy from her, which we were more than happy to do so, we were accepted and not long after we were advised that Idah was pregnant, Dawn then from the word go kept us informed of how Idah was doing up until the pups were born when we had a video of out very own Ozzy being born, we had regular pup dates and once they were ready we were able to visit him twice before we brought him home.

The service we received is of the highest of standards and you know that your puppies are in the safest hand with Dawn, she is kind, caring and of the highest of professionalism, and her expertise shows in everything she does from grooming, scanning and the delivery of pups. Ozzy has also gone back since and stayed with Dawn on a number of occasions, nothing is ever too much trouble, 3 years on and she is always on hand for any questions or concerns you may have and always gives sound advice.

Having had a poodle previously we have seen the difference from breeders and Dawn is definitely a credit to her dogs, they are all so well mannered and good natured and ours has never done any wrong and that is all down to Dawn. Thank you Dawn we love you!

I’ve known Dawn for over two years and wish I’d met her sooner! When I needed a new groomer for my Standard Poodle and Cockapoo, I couldn’t find anyone who met my expectations—until I reached out to Dawn. Her grooming services are incredible; she takes her time, ensures the dogs feel comfortable, and even gives them breaks and treats. My dogs adore her so much that they howl with excitement when we arrive at her street! She’s done every style I’ve asked for, and they always come home happy, looking fabulous, and smelling gorgeous.

When we went on a family holiday, boarding my dogs with Dawn was an easy decision. Unlike past kennel experiences, where my dogs came back stressed and unkempt, Dawn treated them like her own. They came home happy, healthy, and freshly groomed. The regular updates gave me so much peace of mind, and I was almost worried they wouldn’t want to leave her!

Dawn also helped when I needed a stud for my bitch, Kiara. Her studs are happy, social, and well-cared for—my kids love Chewie! Dawn’s expertise and added services, like boarding during mating and spot-on ultrasound predictions, made the process stress-free. Her whelping mentor service was invaluable for me as a first-time breeder, providing guidance from post-mating care to puppy development. Knowing Dawn was just a phone call away let me relax and enjoy the experience, which made a big difference for Kiara and me.

We also purchased a Toy Poodle puppy from Dawn, and he has been an absolute joy. He was well-socialized, confident, and fit into our home effortlessly. His manners are perfect, and he’s a polite, loving companion who’s even started agility training. I can’t recommend Dawn enough—her care, expertise, and love for her dogs truly shine through in everything she does!

After losing our beloved Standard Poodle, I felt totally bereft. I searched for breeders with Canen lineage and found Dawn. Learning that her bitch Idah was due to Ronnie Charles, two stunning and tall Standards, gave me hope and started my healing process. From our first call, Dawn’s warmth and passion for breeding shone through. Despite being in Northern Scotland, we booked a big boy and traveled 8 hours to meet the litter when they were 8 days old. That’s when we chose our gorgeous apricot boy, Hugo, who was already full of confidence.

Throughout his first 8 weeks, Dawn kept us updated with regular WhatsApp videos, making us feel part of his journey. When we picked him up, Hugo was perfectly groomed and ready to settle into his new home, with Dawn going above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition. Now 2 years old, Hugo is an incredible Standard Poodle with excellent conformation, a wonderful temperament, and his own unique personality. Dawn continues to be a mentor and friend, always there with advice and encouragement. We can’t recommend her enough!

Dawn is incredible. Her love & affection for animals shows everytime I drop Barney off to her for dog boarding. Barney is crying and barking in the car as soon as he sees her house, and is desperate to get in when we arrive. He’s got his little gang of doggy friends when he gets there, and absolutely loves them!

I appreciate so much all the little extras Dawn does as well, such as cliping his claws, sending pictures of him enjoying his time with the other dogs, and she makes everything hassle and stress free by providing leads and food for him.

I honestly could not recommend Dawn enough for dog boarding, sitting and grooming. She’s incredible, and I always feel so happy and grateful, knowing my little boy Barney is in great hands and having his own little holiday, when he goes to dawns house.

If you want a home from home and to know your dog is loved as much as you do then Dawn is the person you need in your life!

Ella could not be loved or looked after more.
From the minute we get there she’s off to play with the other dogs! Dawn sends me pictures every day of what she’s been up to and she eats like a queen.

As Ella is a rescue we’ve only ever left her with family but now Dawn is part of that circle and I highly recommended her to anyone looking for grooming, boarding or day care. You won’t find a better person who’s just loves them as much as you do! 

I can't recommend Dawn highly enough as a breeder for her gorgeous puppies and the lifelong care and support she gives. Our standard poodle Florence is now 4 years old. She's a beautiful, healthy example of the breed and is amusing, joyful, clever, and an absolute delight to be around. She lives with our four other standards and has a close bond with all of them. If I was looking for another puppy, Dawn would be the first person I'd contact.

From the moment I started talking to Dawn, I knew she was the perfect stud owner for me. I didn’t have any prior experience of breeding but Dawn held my hand throughout the entire process with kindness, patience and lots of good humour. So much so that I value her now as a true friend and we have gone back for more! Both times, my bitch stayed with Dawn and her stud for 5 days where she was treated like princess and one of the family. If she could have sent postcards home I know they’d have said ‘Can I stay for longer Mum, I’m having such a lovely time with Auntie Dawn and my boyfriend?!’ I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dawn and her stud dogs. All of her poodles receive the very best of care making them such beautiful, gentle characters in tip top health. Highly recommend.

Dawn was incredibly professional and supportive when I contacted her about using Chewbacca as a stud for my bitch's first litter. She guided me through the entire process, providing advice and updates every step of the way. Since I work night shifts, Dawn kindly agreed to look after my bitch for several nights, treating her like one of her own dogs and sending daily updates to reassure me. Chewbacca was friendly, well-cared-for, and thoroughly health-checked, resulting in a litter of 10 healthy puppies! I would 100% use her and her stud if I was to breed again. It’s not just a business for her she truly does care and offers an excellent service. She has a vast knowledge and experience and is more than happy to pass this on at any point during the process.  I can’t thank her and her stud enough and would recommend her to anyone and everyone in the future as both were outstanding.
